Shorter White House: We Have No Idea What the Proposals Would Cost

Quite a few promises from Obama last night. One might ask, how much would all of this cost? Well, the White House doesn’t have a clue:

[he] insisted that his proposals would not increase the nation’s deficit, though the White House offered no price tag on his initiatives.

This is not a serious administration.

In other news, David Gergen has no idea what the word “Liberal” really means:

“He has embraced liberalism, old-fashioned liberalism, in a way we haven’t seen for a long time.”

Gergen’s thinking of “progressivism”, which is quite different from “old-fashioned liberalism”.
