Today, the American Conservative Union  announced U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas will address the 40th annual Conservative Political Action Conference being held March 14th-16th at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. From the ACU:

“In just a few months, Ted Cruz has become a strong, independent conservative voice in the Senate,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “Senator Cruz personifies the theme of this year’s CPAC — America’s Future: The Next Generation of Conservatives.”

In 2012, Ted Cruz was elected as the 34th U.S. Senator from Texas. A passionate fighter for limited government, economic growth, and the Constitution, he won a decisive victory in both the Republican primary and the general election, despite having never before been elected to office. Senator Cruz formerly served as the Solicitor General of Texas, the state’s chief lawyer before the U.S. Supreme Court.

I saw Senator Cruz at a Freedomworks event back in July and he does an outstanding job communicating our message. I expect he’ll do more of that once he gets on the CPAC stage. Trust me, it’s something you don’t want to miss.
