Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee Claims She’s a Freed Slave

She’s baaaaaaack!! Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee (D-North & South Vietnam) has once again blessed the world with her unrivaled genius. Just what did this bastion of intelligence and student of history say this time you ask? From The Hill:

“May I ask them to take some cotton out of their ears, because in actuality, the president extended his hands of friendship,” she said. “I don’t want to hear the fact that the president is divisive. The president is leading, and he’s led well.”

Jackson Lee suggested lawmakers should take inspiration from President Lincoln’s leadership during the Civil War.

“I stand here as a freed slave because this Congress came together. Are we going to be able to do it today to free America?”

She used to be a slave? Really? I could be wrong, but I was unaware there were any living former slaves, but who knows? I mean, maybe her former slave owners were Martians and she’s actually seen the U.S. Flag she claims Neil Armstrong planted on Mars? Or maybe the truth is she’s just a giant moron that is a huge embarrassment to her district?
