Today, the American Conservative Union announced that Dr. Ben Carson will address the 40th Annual Conservative Politcal Action Conference being held March 14th-16th at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. From the ACU:

“Dr. Ben Carson represents the optimism and hope of the future of the conservative movement, while at the same time he articulates the deep fiscal and social challenges that our Nation faces,” said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas. “We look forward to welcoming Dr. Carson to the CPAC stage in March.”

Dr. Benjamin Carson is the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. An internationally renowned physician, Dr. Carson has authored over 100 neurosurgical publications, along with five best-selling books, including the New York Times bestseller,America the Beautiful, and has been awarded 60 honorary doctorate degrees and dozens of national merit citations. He is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and delivered the keynote address at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast earlier this month.

Dr. Carson certainly fired up Conservatives with his speech at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast earlier this month and I am looking forward to seeing him do it again at CPAC. See you all there!

so this fellow gave one decent speech and now he’s a superstar…the GOP messiah…the next presidential candidate…plus he’s BLACK !
hmmmmm…why does this scenario sound so familiar ??

No. Quite the contrary. He has given many decent speeches. This one just happened to be at the National Prayer Breakfast. It made headlines because the President and First Lady were there. That’s all!! Yeah! An internationally renowned physician, Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is a BLACK man who has a WHITE mentality. Rather than praise this man for his hard work, dedication to his field of study, his accomplishments, courage, you’d rather sink him down to your level, because it’s easier than trying to raise yourself up to his.
