Here’s what you should see:

Hypocrite

Why?

This.

“You proposed armed guards in school. We’ll talk about that in some detail in a moment. You confronted the news media. You blamed Hollywood and the gaming industry. But never once did you concede that guns could actually be part of the problem. Is that a meaningful contribution, Mr. LaPierre, or a dodge?,” asked Gregory.

Later the host suggested that guns don’t prevent violence in schools (he cited the mass shootings at Columbine and Virginia Tech). “But you would concede that, as good as an idea as you think this is, it may not work. Because there have been cases where armed guards have not prevented this kind of massacre, this kind of carnage. I want you would concede that point, wouldn’t you?,” Gregory pleaded.

Gregory was in full attack mode, even breaking out a magazine – in an apparent violation of DC gun laws – to punctuate his hysterics. Problem? David Gregory’s kids go to a school with an 11 person police force. We’re assuming some of the police officers are armed. Oh, and it’s the same school Obama’s kids go to so there’s Secret Service, who we KNOW is armed, at the school too.

Very convenient for Gregory to completely avoid telling his audience that.

I think the worst hypocrisy on the part of Gregory is demanding that LaPierre concede that armed security at schools “may not work.” I’m betting that if you scoured any tape of Gregory interviewing gun control advocates, you’d find he never asked them a similar question, even though the evidence shows that their solution WILL not work.

Putting cops in schools is totally insane! Completely outrageous! Only a lunatic would consider such a thing! Utterly Out Of Touch™. Except for when Bill Clinton did it. That was awesome.
