Obama Won By Blaming “Policies of the Past” On GOP

I don’t know how many times I’ve written about the biggest lie of the 21st century (so far), but we now have definitive proof that Obama won re-election using that lie.
How many times did we hear Obama blame “policies of the past” for the “mess we’re in?” Or the variation: “Why should we believe the people who got us into this mess to begin with?” – meaning Republicans. Anyone who has heard more than one speech from Obama knows it is a recurring theme. The narrative, for years, has been that Republicans got us into this mess – because it happened under a Bush presidency – and that narrative was used as a cudgel with which to beat up on the Republican brand.
“Republicans got us into this mess.” Over and over again. And, naturally, the media played along instead of informing the American public about the real causes of the recession and subsequent financial collapse. Of course, giving the public the facts would have been disastrous for Democrats, so the information went unreported. Anyone who actually bothered to find out knew that the housing bubble was created before Bush took office. They would also know that he tried, unsuccessfully, to put the brakes on the risky loans being backed by the GSEs (Fannie and Freddie). But those facts ran contrary to the preferred narrative and never made an issue. The goal was to elect and re-elect the first black president. Nothing else mattered.
In order to accomplish this fraud, Democrats and the media chose to focus on the financial collapse which centered on Wall Street. Over time the recession was somehow blamed on Wall Street when the financial collapse happened because of the recession. The Democrat Media Complex successfully flipped the cause / effect scenario. The cause, the housing bubble, became the effect of Wall Street greed. The truth, however, was that the housing bubble exposed an over-leveraged financial market. The housing bubble was the first “domino” and the financial collapse came after.
And who caused the housing bubble? Democrats.
A new study from the widely respected National Bureau of Economic Research released this week has confirmed beyond question that the left’s race-baiting attacks on the housing market (the Community Reinvestment Act–enacted under Carter, made shockingly more aggressive under Clinton) is directly responsible for imploding the housing market and destroying theeconomy.
The study painstakingly sorted through failed home loans that caused the housing market collapse and identified an overwhelming connection between them and CRA mortgages.
Specifically, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Two of Obama’s most powerful supporters and the two main culprits in creating the housing bubble Obama successfully blamed on Republicans. Amazing, isn’t it?
The American Public is generally unaware of this. That’s the media’s fault. I’m sure they’re pretty proud of it, though, so I guess they’d call it an accomplishment. The article above is based on research by the National Bureau of Economic Research. Before the leftists start calling it a right-wing think tank, Larry Summers (a key economic advisor to Clinton and Obama) is part of the group.
That’s right, Larry Summers knows what caused the recession and that means Bill Clinton and Barack Obama know too. And they lied to the American people over and over again in order to get Obama re-elected.
The main goal of the entire conservative new media should be to educate the American people on what actually happened so that they can see exactly why we are in the situation we are in today. They must be made aware of the facts so that they hold Democrats accountable for the policies they enacted instead of allowing Democrats and the media to blame it on Republicans and by extension conservatives.
Ironically, Obama was right when he said that we shouldn’t trust the people who got us into this mess. The problem is he and his Democratic Party were the ones who did it. And not enough people know about it.
Democrats caused the recession. It is now indisputable.

[...] We all know President Obama’s go-to line has always been to blame ‘policies of the past.’ He uses it during campaigns, speeches, and it’s used in tons of statements on the White House website. His administration uses it as a way to shift blame, avoid responsibility for anything, and to try to make everyone think that the only people responsible for anything that goes wrong are Republicans. In fact, back in December we wrote about them using this very ploy to win re-election: [...]
