Hypocrisy: A Thought Experiment

Let’s say you are a liberal website who in the past has repeatedly “speculated” that a person you hate “might have violated” laws while going undercover to report a story.
Let’s say that you are also a virulently anti-gun website.
What does it mean if you refuse to speculate that someone “might have violated” laws because that someone happens to be a liberal who pretends to be a neutral reporter on a major Sunday talk show?
Go to Media Matters.org and search for “David Gregory” and read the results.
Now do the same for “James O’Keefe.”
What you’ll find is a real world example of hypocrisy. And you can do the same thing on the ThinkProgress.org website and find eerily similar results which lead to the exact same conclusion.
Weird, right?
