Twitchy.com has a story out of people – oh hell, let’s just say it… morons – who are upset that companies are laying off people after the election. Their “logic?” Companies are laying people off for revenge. In their view, corporations are getting revenge on people for voting for Obama. I kid you not. Read the article I linked.

Out here in the real world, we know that companies have been warning of massive layoffs because ObamaCare costs are too high and companies aren’t in business to simply employ people. This is a concept so foreign to Obama voters that their only conclusion is that math isn’t relevant anymore. Apparently they think companies exist to serve the state and not their stakeholders.

The only silver lining in all this is that we, as conservatives, have a new opportunity to win the battle of ideas. We were the ones who said this would happen. If done correctly, we can show people the way out of this mess Obama created and now inherited – love the irony, by the way – is through the application of the conservative principles of free enterprise and limited government.

There’s still a chance, America. It’s going to be a hard road. But we can do this.

In the mean time, I’ll leave you with this:

I would really like to see the polling data on who, among the laid off, voted for Obama. It’s very tiring living in a country full of brain dead liberals who keep electing these people because they’re either too stupid to know any better, or too lazy to educate themselves on how liberals think.

Voting has “CONSEQUENCES” whether you like it or not. Reality sucks.
