Any time we find a case where those on the left prove themselves to be not quite as inclusive as they say, I can’t help but point it out. This time, a liberal Norwegian politician is seen encouraging some pretty disgusting hate speech directed toward Jews and their treatment during the Holocaust on Facebook.

From the Times of Israel:

Aspiring Norwegian politician Khalid Haji Ahmed said he was only joking when he wished “best of luck eight times over” to activists who wrote on Facebook that they wished Adolf Hitler could kill more Jews.

Screen shots made by Hamar Arbeiderblad, a local newspaper, show Ahmed responding on Facebook to a post that read “Damn Jew whores, wish Hitler could come back and shower you some more.”

The Facebook conversation took place last week between members of the Workers’ Youth League, Norway’s largest youth movement, which is affiliated with the country’s ruling Labor Party.

Ahmed, the youth movement’s regional secretary in southeast Norway, is quoted as telling the news site Nettavisen that his comment was “ironic.”

I’m sure it was (that was irony).

A little perspective here. Norway has a population of about 5 million. The Southeast region (Greater Oslo) is about 2 million. Greater Oslo is majority (60%) Labor. The WYP has about 20,000 active members nationwide. Assuming proportions hold, and his views are representative of everyone in the SE WYP (I assure you they are not), he speaks for about 5,000 Norwegians. My local high school has as many students.

Feels like we are living in the twilight zone! What have the Jews ever done to deserve all the hate? It’s absolutely insane and all of us should take steps to stop it now! If we sit back, our turn might come next.
