Congressman Ron Paul’s Farewell Speech to Congress [VIDEO]

While opinions about Congressman Ron Paul and his positions on issues will always be hotly debated, one thing is not up for debate: Ron Paul is an honorable man who selflessly served his country for many years and is deserving of our respect and gratitude for his service. In that spirit, here is his farewell speech to from the House floor:

    Ron Paul has worked hard in making our country understand the consequences of our actions. But Greed has taken over the country
    and when it is gone what next.

    Congressman Ryan is one individual that has truly earned the title
    Congressman. Unlike the rest of the “clueless” presently there,
    Congressman Ryan always placed the constitution and his belief
    in was right for this country before politics. You may disagree with
    him in a number of issues, but he is absolutely correct in the speech
    . Congratulations! It is about time someone starting speeking
    the truth.

    What refreshing honesty, what a great speech!
    Full of “inconvenient truths”, I only hope this message gets a wide audience.
    There are lessons here for people and governments eveywhere!

    It’s sad to see Ron Paul leave and his speech was inspiring. I came across a radio clip on this website about his speech. He will be missed.
