More Desperation From Team Obama

Team Obama is really grasping at straws now. Their latest outrage? Mitt Romney not doing the Nickelodeon show “Kids Pick the President.” No, I’m not kidding on this one. Look here:

President Obama’s peeps say Mitt Romney is gonna be sorry for blowing off a bunch of kids who participated in the Nickelodeon show, “Kids Pick the President.”
The premise of the show — kids submit questions to each candidate and based on the answers they make their pick for leader of the free world.

Deputy National Press Secretary Adam Fetcher tells TMZ, “It’s no surprise Romney decided to play hookey.  Kids demand details, and I’m sure they want some answers on why Romney could increase their class sizes, eliminate their teacher’s jobs, raise taxes on their families and slash funding for Big Bird.”

Fetcher ends with this zinger:  “The dog ate my homework’ just doesn’t cut it when you’re running for President.”

So the Obama Campaign is now going with the “Mitt Romney is scared of children!” angle? Riiiight. Yeah, that must be it. I can’t think of any other reason Team Romney wouldn’t want to do something Nickelodeon planned. I mean, it’s not like a Nickelodeon employee made crude, sexually suggestive remarks about the wives of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, right? Oh, wait… a Nickelodeon employee actually DID do that…

You know what’d be nice? If a journalist would ask Obama’s Deputy National Press Secretary Adam Fetcher or anyone else on Team Obama, if Jason Biggs had made those comments about Michelle Obama and Jill Biden if they’d do the interview? I certainly hope not.

    Does Fletcher really want to use the words “dog” and “ate” to defend Obama, in any circumstance? It’s just too easy….

    Blowing off children is low. Maybe he should stop sucking up to millionaires and take the 15 minutes to sit down and record a response to future voters of america. Ya know act like he wants to be a steward of the US Government and not just the guy with the biggest title in america.

    Hey Spencer, Maybe OBama should do his FREAKING JOB and protect the Americans dying in our Embassies you moron. We don’t want a celebutard as POTUS, we want a man CAPABLE of doing the job and that’s CLEARLY NOT Barry Obama.
