This is Your Administration, America

I think we can all agree that the video that (allegedly) set off the riots and protests in the Middle East that (allegedly) led to attacks on US embassies abroad is pretty vile, awfully done stuff.

I thought we could all agree, however, that no matter how vile this stuff is (as long as it’s not pornographic, etc. etc.) in America you have a right to publish it under our freedom of speech and expression. Well, the Obama administration apparently disagrees. Buried a little ways into an LA Times article is a pretty disturbing sentence:

In a sign of the tensions the movie has sparked, Los Angeles County officials said the U.S. State Department had asked them not to release copies of the film permits containing information about who organized the shoot. Obama administration officials also flagged the trailer to YouTube and asked the company to review whether it violated the website’s terms of service.

That’s right, the Obama administration is actively trying to limit these people’s freedom of speech – despite the fact they did nothing wrong other than make a detestable movie. Which, since Adam Sandler isn’t in jail, is clearly not illegal.

It is not these filmmakers’ faults the people of the Middle East are rioting and it is not their fault good men and women were killed abroad. No, it’s the fault of the cretins who woke up one morning and decided they were going to kill someone that day. Removing the detestable film from YouTube does nothing to rid these people of their even more vile morality.

    As a proud American Muslim , this article is really frigging stupid , becuz YouTube has a no hate speech policy so the video should be banned, I have had some of my vids banned from YouTube and they did not incite murder or protests. Obviously this guy has a republican biased and he is trying to blame Obama for some crap hes not even involved with. YouTube does not obey US laws it has it’s own laws and rules. Let me tell you these idiots who write racist rhetoric like this jackass are gonna led America into ww3 and lose, Brandon your a dumbass republican & your gonna ruin America with your constant partisan bullshit , that results in America doing nothing

    Didn’t this anti Muslim filmmaker donate money to he Obama campaign? I haven’t viewed the video because all it is, sir is a SMOKESCREEN. Let us blame the video you say. It MUST be the video’s fault innocent people are being murdered. It MUST be the video’s fault

    My comment was posted before I could finish… Calling him “a dumbass republican” is a very typical thing to say when you aren’t smart enough to back up your little comment with anything factual… uh uh uh your just dumb… and uh uh a doodoo brain. Goodness. Please do yourself a favor and take a hard look at Obama. We as a country need him out of office.
