Of all the nonsense I’ve seen in my life, this one just might take the cake. Liberal talk show host Leslie Marshall tweeted this earlier plugging what she called an ‘unbiased website’ she would be using on her show:

Naturally this piqued my curiosity because known Obama shill Leslie Marshall is about as far away from ‘unbiased’ as a person can get. Knowing this, I decided to check out this ‘unbiased’ site.

At first glance it looks all non-partisan and no-spin like they claim. You pick the candidates you want to compare and corresponding links for each on appear for you to click on so you can check them out. I picked President Obama and Mitt Romney to compare and the links popped right up. But like with most anything, the devil is in the details.

When you click on the links for Mitt Romney? The vast majority of them take you to either unreliable Wikipedia or an article that includes support of President Obama’s position on the same issue. For example, one of the links for Mitt Romney’s position on Israel and Palestine takes you here where more of the article is actually devoted to portraying President Obama’s position in a positive light. In fact, Romney’s name only actually appears in three of the twenty-five paragraphs in the article. And in the middle of that article? They have four additional links to four more articles favorable to President Obama.

Now what happens when you click on the links for President Obama’s positions? The vast majority of them take you to the official White House site to read a post which of course is nothing but spin for President Obama. Are they serious with this garbage?

I mean, for Leslie Marshall to claim to this site is ‘unbiased’ is hilarious. Even better? The website actually says they “seek to remove as much opinion or ‘spin’ as possible.” What? For President Obama, you’re linking straight to approved talking points (spin) and for Romney they link to Wikipedia and articles that talk more about President Obama than Romney.

I know you’ve probably pulled all your hair by now but wait, it gets even better…

Take a guess at who runs this ‘unbiased website’ she’s going to use on her show? Her executive producer Mark Grimaldi and his self-described ‘good friend’ Michael Klanac. Well, just because he’s her producer doesn’t make him biased, right? I mean, it’s not like he uses his Facebook page to bash Mitt Romney and play head cheerleader for President Obama, right? Oh, wait…

That’s right, his Facebook page is covered with ‘Obama Truth Team’ photos, support for the DISCLOSE Act, instructions from Media Matters on the Wisconsin Recall, and links that let you donate to President Obama’s re-election.

His buddy Mr. Klanac isn’t any better. His Facebook uses some of the same ‘unbiased sources’ found on his boy’s page and their website. He pimps charts from the President’s reelection website, proposes gun control measures involving rationing, and bashes Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.

What you have here are three hardcore liberals doing thier best to shill for President Obama under the guise of somehow being unbiased. They think that because they didn’t actually write any of the things they link to, they can claim they aren’t biased in any way. False.

Newsflash: Just because you don’t write anything you link to doesn’t make you unbiased. What you link to proves you’re biased. You link to essentially nothing but White House-approved spin to represent President Obama and then use Wikipedia or articles that talk more about President Obama than the candidate’s views you claim that link represents. And liberals think we’re too dumb to notice.

At this point, the only ones the liberals are fooling are themselves.

  2. Tommy,

Thank you for writing about our site. I was wondering if you wanted to connect a little bit about your article. I’m actually not a Liberal at all, and I would be happy to get some additional perspective on how to spice up the Mitt Romney section of our website. You can reach me at my email address in this post.

    Thanks,

    Mike Klanac
