Biden, Axelrod and Cutter: Are They Working for the Same Guy?

It seems Joe Biden, David Axelrod and Stephanie Cutter aren’t on speaking terms any longer. At least they can’t seem to get their stories straight about what their boss did or did not do to Medicare.

After Cutter defended the $700 billion Obamacare cuts from Medicare, first David Axelrod contradicted her and today the Vice-President himself did the same thing.

First Axelrod, on CBS This Morning, refutes Cutter’s statements calling them lies.

Today in Durham, NC the Vice-President said “What’s gutsy about giving millionaires and billionaires tax breaks? What’s gutsy about gutting Medicaid and Medicare?”

The funny thing about diversion, obfuscation, even outright lying, is that it typically comes back around to haunt you and the truth comes out. The truth is what Stephanie Cutter said, the rest is damage control and spin, and poorly done at that.
