The Left Displays The Racism Of Low Expectations… Again.

Mitt Romney gave a speech to the NAACP. During this speech, he was applauded and booed.  At the end of the speech, he was given a standing ovation by the audience. Why? Because Romney had the stones to go in front of what is obviously not a friendly audience for Republicans and – GASP! – spoke to them as adults.

You see, according to the Left, if one doesn’t go in front of black audiences and tell them exactly what they want to hear, that person is clearly racist. No, really. This is what they’re arguing.

“He went there to bait us,” Julian Bond, who served as chairman of the NAACP from 1998 to 2010, told the Huffington Post. “He wanted to be able to go to some of the independents he needs to get elected and tell them, ‘See? I stood up to the Negroes.’”

He went there to “bait” them, they say. Romney went to the NAACP and said stuff to make them boo him so he could gain cred with racists. It’s not just Julian Bond saying this stuff either. It’s Nancy Pelosi saying it. It’s that pathetic excuse for a human being, Lawrence O’Donnell, saying it – backed up by race pimp, Goldie Taylor.

It’s clearly a coordinated message to attack Romney for literally telling the NAACP the truth about what he was planning to do. Amazing isn’t it?

This is the way the Left thinks. Minorities and other special interest groups must be pandered to. If you don’t pander, you are a racist for treating them like grown ups who are free to make up their own minds. They must be coaxed along like ignorant sheep to the desired outcome. That’s what the Left is saying here and they don’t even realize it.

Because they’re racists.

That’s right. They’re displaying the racism of low expectations. In the Left’s eyes, minority groups are incapable of succeeding in life without the help of the rich white liberal elite. The message they send, constantly, is this:

Don’t you worry your pretty little heads about anything. We won’t bother telling you the truth about what is going on. You don’t need to think about this stuff. We’ll take care of it.

That’s racist. That’s the Left’s ideology. That’s Progressivism. It’s inherently racist.

And they’re so deluded, so ensconced in identity / race politics, that they say this racist stuff while accusing others of being racist. Mitt Romney told the NAACP what he was planning to do. He didn’t lie to them like Democrats lie to them – promising jobs and security while repeatedly pushing policies that provide neither. In fact, their policies have put us on the brink of an economic / fiscal collapse that will disproportionately affect NAACP members, but they’ll never admit to it. Instead, they’ll pander. “It’s ok. Everything is fine. We’ll take care of it.” Liars.

Romney’s “crime” was to present his agenda to the NAACP. That’s it. It was fairly well received speech considering he wasn’t trying to tell them what Democrats think the NAACP wanted to hear. But because there were no gaffes or lies, the Left must resort to the only thing they have left: the race card.

And it’s pathetic.

Parting shot: The Left’s idiotic “Romney wanted to be booed” nonsense is ridiculously racist. It assumes that the audience was too dumb to realize they were being baited into booing Romney. Seriously. How racist can the Left get?
