Obama To Double-Down On Desperate Class Warfare Strategy

It wasn’t enough that Team Obama was trying to make Mitt Romney’s finances an issue – as if everything would be fine if it weren’t for Romney’s now-closed Swiss bank account. Now Obama is set to double-down on the class warfare strategy with a new call to extend the “Bush tax cuts” on everyone but those making more than $250K a year. Nolte at Breitbart.com nails it:

Today, in yet another desperate attempt to win a news cycle as opposed to do his job and what’s best for the country, Obama will use the high-profile setting of the Rose Garden to call for a huge tax increase on those making $250,000 or more, which will, of course, hit who knows how many small business owners. Naturally, Obama and his Media Palace Guards will spin today’s announcement as a call to keep in place the Bush-era tax cuts for those making under $250,000 a year (a middle class tax cut), but it’s really a call to raise taxes on our nation’s job creators.

Exactly. Obama is literally telling small businesses that they will be sacrificed to try and save his presidency. It’s disgusting.

It doesn’t even make sense. We are experiencing anemic job growth and the very people who create new jobs will be targeted for a tax hike. And what’s worse, the OFA (Obama for America) lemmings are out saying that hiking taxes on small businesses will help the economy!

The Obama Administration is fundamentally an unserious one. No one in their right minds could think that the answer to anemic job growth is higher taxes. And yet, this is exactly what they’re doing. But will the LapDogMedia call them out?

Of course not. The media will play up the class warfare angle – appealing to people’s envy and pettiness – and play down the fact that this tax hike is going to affect the people who create the jobs the country desperately needs. We have had 41 consecutive months of unemployment above 8%. The Obama administration sold the stimulus on the basis that we’d be below 6% by now. Somehow, this massive failure hasn’t triggered a backlash in the media. We can’t expect them to hold Obama accountable for this latest class warfare gambit.

The GOP and Romney campaign need to break out a full frontal assault on this nonsense right now. It’s do or die time.
