Obama Threatens Veto, Media Continues Democrat Narrative

It’s amazing. After Obama announced that he wants Congress to pass a massive tax hike on nearly 900,000 small business owners, the Democrat spin machine went full tilt on promoting it as a middle class tax cut – nevermind that the current rates weren’t changing, just continuing. The narrative is now “Obama wants to help the middle class, and Republican will hold the middle class hostage for rich people” even though Democrats are targeting nearly a million small business owners who create middle class jobs.

Then, Obama’s Press Secretary, Jay Carney, admitted to reporters that Obama would veto any attempt to pass a full extension of the “Bush Tax Cuts” (aka the current tax rates).

Carney finally says Obama would VETO the Bush tax cut extension for all earners.

So here we have the Obama administration willing to allow taxes to go up on ALL AMERICANS in 2013. What’s worse is that it’s all being done for political reasons. There is no economic justification for hiking taxes on 900,000 small business owners right now. But it’s the Republicans, who want to ensure everyone – that’s fair, isn’t it? – continues to pay the current rates until the tax code can be reformed, being maligned in the media by the Democrat Media Complex.

Somehow, Republicans are being painted as the bad guys for wanting to prevent taxes on the people who create jobs in this country. How does this happen?

Any logical person can see that the ones threatening a tax hike on the middle class are the Democrats. Republicans will pass a full extension which means everyone avoids a tax hike. Democrats want to pass a rate extension for some, and a tax hike on others.

Who is holding who hostage here? Answer: Obama and the Democrats.

Who is getting all the negative press? Republicans.

This is insane.
