Bachmann Keeps VP Speculation Alive

Michele Bachmann appeared on Piers Morgan Tonight:
Former presidential candidate Michele Bachmann did not deny Monday whether she was being vetted for the job of Mitt Romney’s running mate.
“Whoever it is that he chooses to bring in as his V.P., it will be a highly competent person who could step in at a moment’s notice and assume the responsibilities of the White House,” the Minnesota congresswoman said on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.”
Pressed further if she was being considered for the gig, Bachmann, whose name has not been frequently mentioned as a potential contender, left it up to the presumptive GOP nominee and his team to make a comment.
More here.
I don’t believe that the congresswoman from Minnesota is being seriously considered for the VP spot. If she is being considered it’s probably because the campaign believes that she can shore up support among Tea Party groups or because she would appeal to women.

I have a low opinion of Mittens, but I cannot believe that he would be stupid enough to even bother vetting this delusional, fascist witch from Minnesota for VP. Bachmann would be an even worse disaster for Romney than Palin was for McCain — she’s that bad! For the sake of this country and the rest of the civilized world, Bachmann needs to be voted out of Congress in the fall and never be allowed anywhere near the White House.
