By one point, but still. This is big, and hopefully not just an outlier.

After a period where President Obama lead presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney through the latter’s drawn out primary, Romney has retaken the lead over Obama nationally for President among registered voters.

Via Gallup:

You can see the race has been neck and neck after a good stretch where Obama lead before the two flip-flopped for the top spot. I don’t think this is any indicator of growing Romney momentum, but one point up is better than one point down. Here’s hoping that lead (within the margin of error, of course) rises in the coming months.

    note: this is registered voters, not likely voters. i believe “likely voters” poll shows bigger lead for mittens.

    Gallup and Rasmussen pollsters are tools of the GOP. Thy always get it wrong.
