Everyone Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day

On Wednesday I asked you to do what you could to help spread the word about the convicted bomber who now spends his time harassing conservatives online in order to silence them. I already knew about how Brett Kimberin and his merry band of harassers were trying to out anonymous conservatives online in order to shut them up. I understood why they would try to get people fired by “exposing” them as conservatives – in reality, they “out” them as “haters” for not being politically correct enough – AKA they lie about what conservatives are saying.
I had no idea they were literally trying to get people killed by making fraudulent phone calls to police in order to have the police send in SWAT teams to people’s houses. You must read this account by Patterico.
At 12:35 a.m. on July 1, 2011, sheriff’s deputies pounded on my front door and rang my doorbell. They shouted for me to open the door and come out with my hands up.
When I opened the door, deputies pointed guns at me and ordered me to put my hands in the air. I had a cell phone in my hand. Fortunately, they did not mistake it for a gun.
They ordered me to turn around and put my hands behind my back. They handcuffed me. They shouted questions at me: IS THERE ANYONE ELSE IN THE HOUSE? and WHERE ARE THEY? and ARE THEY ALIVE?
I told them: Yes, my wife and my children are in the house. They’re upstairs in their bedrooms, sleeping. Of course they’re alive.
Deputies led me down the street to a patrol car parked about 2-3 houses away. At least one neighbor was watching out of her window as I was placed, handcuffed, in the back of the patrol car. I saw numerous patrol cars on my quiet street. There was a police helicopter flying overhead, shining a spotlight down on us as I walked towards the patrol car. Several neighbors later told us the helicopter woke them up. I saw a fire engine and an ambulance. A neighbor later told me they had a HazMat vehicle out on the street as well.
Meanwhile, police rushed into my home. They woke up my wife, led her downstairs and to the front porch, frisked her, and asked her where the children were. Then police ordered her to stand on the front porch with her hands against the wall while they entered my children’s bedrooms to make sure they were alive.
The call that sent deputies to my home was a hoax. Someone had pretended to be me. They called the police to say I had shot my wife. The sheriff’s deputies who arrived at my front door believed they were about to confront an armed man who had just shot his wife. I don’t blame the police for any of their actions. But I blame the person who made the call.
Because I could have been killed.
Bone chilling. This can happen to you, friends. If you dare to go against the radical left’s orthodoxy, they will try to get you fired from your job. When that doesn’t work, they try to get you killed.
This is what Brett Kimberlin and his band of radical thugs have been up to for years. Not only is this harassment and endangerment sick beyond belief in and of itself, it gets even worse. How? Because beyond simply trying to shut conservatives up, Kimberlin and company have to pretend that it’s conservatives who are harassing and smearing Kimberlin so that Kimberlin’s various front group can continue to receive money from liberal funding sources like the Tides Foundation.
Since 2005, JTM collected $1.8 million in contributions from an illustrious list of donors including the George Soros-funded Tides Foundation, liberal songstress Barbara Streisand and John Kerry’s wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry.
JTM claims that it has registered countless people to vote using “cutting edge technology in order to effect change through the ballot box.”
“We support the aspirations of youth worldwide to be free to express themselves, and we take a stand against oppressive regimes that suppress freedom and deprive citizens of basic human rights,” Kimberlin’s website continues.
Really?
In an article detailing Kimberlin’s “thinly veiled” tax documents, Ed Barnes expained how the 58-year-old Bethesda, Md., resident is raising a steady stream of money from the left in return for promising to put conservative bloggers out of business.
Make sure to read the links in the quote, especially this one.
As I said on Wednesday, tell the world about Kimberlin and his band of miscreants, like Neal Rauhauser and Ron Brynaert. It’s time to 1) take a stand against this assault on free expression and 2) force the media to look into the people being funding by allegedly legitimate leftists and their organizations. This is the kind of stuff Soros-funded groups are promoting. This is how Occupy Wall Street and it’s violent movement got started. All under the guise of “peaceful” activism.
The left has been engaged in crafting an alternate reality where the Tea Party are dangerous extremists while leftist movements like Occupy Wall Street are peaceful. We know the opposite is true. Brett Kimberlin and his ilk are part of the same apparatus pushing this false narrative – all the while they’re harassing conservatives and trying to get them fired from their jobs and in some cases, like Patterico’s, trying to get them killed.
This must end. Force the media’s hand. Make them cover this. Hit your blogs, Twitter and Facebook today. Use the #BrettKimberlin hashtag.
Now.

Why aren’t they tracing the phony call and arresting this guy. It’s a waste of taxpayers money and puts people at risk. Lock this guy up and throw away the key. Start investigating those who fund this guy (i.e. Soros, Bab’s, etc.)
So my question is, why doesn’t someone try his tactics in reverse, and call the cops on his house, or Bill Ayers? Or somebody like this. A bit of their own medicine might be what is required.
