Mitch Daniels Endorses Romney

OK, kinda. And it was only by a process of elimination.

My initial presidential favorite had this to say on Fox News:

“Must be a slow news day if this is leading the air, Brian, but for what it’s worth, I did send a congratulatory note to Governor Romney the other day, offered to do anything I could to help him, and here I am.”

And Romney’s reaction, according to Gov. Daniels:

“I guess he’s pleased.”

That’s one way to put it.

By the way, Governor, you been hanging out at the beach lately? Nice tan.
