Obama, Fourth Greatest President Ever, Says He’s Lazy
Not too long ago, President Obama practically called himself the fourth greatest President the United States has ever known. Obama’s words: “I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any President with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR and Lincoln.” This prompted some prodding from the right, naturally, and American Crossroads released a video teasing Obama over it:
Now Obama says his greatest flaw is that he’s… lazy.
“It’s interesting. Deep down underneath all the work I do, I think there’s a laziness in me,” Obama said. “It’s probably from growing up in Hawaii, and it’s sunny outside. Sitting on the beach.”
Could you imagine if our apparently fourth greatest President (better than Washington, Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, JFK and Reagan) wasn’t lazy? Think of the things he could do! Settle the west, put an American on the moon, win the Cold War (because apparently Presidents better than him haven’t done that yet), maybe cure cancer, end the Iraq War on American terms… perhaps even pass a budget!
That’s right, if Obama wasn’t so lazy he just might be our greatest President ever. Such a shame.
