Cain Reassessing Candidacy – How Will The Left Spin It Into Racism?

New allegations, this time of an affair, have Herman Cain reportedly reassessing whether to stay in the race. (From Politico.com)

On a conference call this morning, Cain told his team that he is ‘reassessing’ the campaign, a source told POLITICO.

How this will turn out is anyone’s guess. One thing is certain, though. It will be fascinating to watch the Left turn this into an issue of race.

Oh, c’mon! You know they will!

I can see it now: “Herman Cain drops out. Racist GOP relieved.” Or if he decides to stay in and his numbers continue to drop: “Herman Cain being thrown under the bus. Allegations of improper relationships merely a cover for the GOP’s latent racism. Cain was never really a contender in the mostly white GOP.”

Mark my words. The articles will be numerous. They will center around race instead of policy or even the personal issues that transcend color. The race-obsessed Left has nothing else.
