Sen. McCaskill: Hey, At Least the Recession Led to a Big Ol’ Drop in Emissions!

MO Sen. Claire McCaskill (D), who should know quite a bit about emissions considering she loved to fly around in a private jet and then not pay taxes for it, apparently joked to a group of people that at least emissions are way down thanks to our faltering economy!

This, obviously, is a silver lining of epic proportions. Especially for all those unemployed people sitting on their couch thinking, you know, I may not have a job, but at least I’m helping keep that darn CO2 out of the atmosphere. Now where’s my cheetos?
