The Wisconsin Union Protests Expose The Real Left

…and it’s an ugly sight to behold.

First, teachers force school districts across Wisconsin to shut down leaving parents across the State scrambling to deal with kids who were supposed to be in school. Second, the teachers / protesters are throwing a temper tantrum because they’re being asked to kick in a little more towards their own retirement and health care benefits. Third, the President of the United States’ re-election campaign is involved in coordinating the protests in Wisconsin and are organizing similar protests in other States. Fourth, the Left flat out lied and said there wasn’t even a real deficit problem in Wisconsin and the current Governor was making it up. Fifth, Democrat State Senators fled the State rather than show up to do their jobs. Sixth, teachers brought students along to protest with them when they were supposedly too sick to work. Seventh, Leftists compared Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker to Hitler and Hosni Mubarak for attempting to balance the State’s budget.

And now this:

Fraud.

What an excellent example these teachers, politicians, and doctors are setting for the youth of the country. These are the people our children as supposed to look up to? These are the people influencing generations of young Americans.

What we’re seeing is an ideology devoid of a moral compass. This is Progressivism laid bare for all the world to see. It’s disgusting. This is the Nanny State, cradle-to-grave entitlement society. They’ve turned public sector jobs into welfare programs and this is what happens when someone tries to make it sustainable.

This cannot stand.

UPDATE: Get ready to have your mind blown. One of the worst hacks in the Lefty blogosphere is claiming, with a straight face, that the video above is a hoax. Her “evidence”? The video has ties to Andrew Breitbart.

So we’re clear on this, Christian Hartsock, the guy “interviewed” and also the guy who probably produced that first video is the same guy who helped out with the smears of ACORN and New Jersey teachers, and he works for Andrew Breitbart.

Breitbart has bragged about being at the protests in Wisconsin today. Americans for Prosperity is linked to the MacIver Institute. A Breitbart video smear guy is quoted in an article smearing teachers. Figure it out.

That’s it. The people who produced the video are linked to Breitbart and the Koch Brothers. This is all Karoli needs to claim the video is bogus.

One would think that after the last time Karoli tried this kind of “gotcha” reporting, and failed miserably, she would be a little more cautious about repeating her mistake. Oh, you didn’t hear about it? I’ll walk you through it.

Remember the “I Need a Freakin Job” billboard someone put up in advance of an Obama visit last summer? One of the people who purchased that billboard (and started the website, now defunct) was named Scott Baker. Karoli, in a crack investigative investigation concluded that the Scott Baker who purchased the billboard, was the same Scott Baker who is an associate of Andrew Breitbart. You might have heard of him. He’s the host of TheBCast which is part of Breitbart.tv.

Read that again. Karoli, in her brilliance, concluded that there was only ONE Scott Baker in the entire US and the whole INAFJ movement was Breitbart backed astroturf. I was the one who called her out on Twitter and in the comments section of the article when I saw this ridiculousness (she blocked me afterwards). I also notified TheBCast’s Scott Baker and he did an entire show (with a call-in from the INAFJ Scott Baker) about how much of a hack the CrooksandLiars.com blogger is.

Now Karoli is at it again. Someone with ZERO credibility accusing Andrew Breitbart of manufacturing the footage you see above.

Just add her hackery to the list. Way to prove my point, Karoli! Thanks!
