Jim Geraghty just posted this new ad from the RNC. I like it. A lot.

As Jim notes:

Credit this RNC ad for getting the line of authority clear, hitting “President Obama and his union bosses.”

You’re darn right it does.

Prediction: In the next few hours the Lefty outrage manufacturers will be writing about how the GOP is now making Obama out to be a puppet of Big Labor as if he isn’t one. I won’t be surprised at all if the race card players throw in a charge of racism. You know how it’ll go: “Are they saying a black man can’t operate without some white men calling the shots?” No, that’s not what they’re saying. They’re saying what anyone with two eyes can see: Obama answers to Labor Unions. Period.

The outrage manufacturers will conveniently leave out all the ads and stories and blog posts about Bush being in the “pocket of Big Oil.” They’ll forget how they tried to make Bush synonymous with “Halliburton.” Better yet, they’ll totally ignore their attempt to make the Koch brothers the “real” leaders of the conservative movement (implying that GOP politicians are merely puppets, of course).

No, they’ll just pretend that they’ve never done anything like this before.

I like this first volley from the RNC. Reince Priebus is off to a good start.

UPDATE: At 1:23 pm today, I wrote this blog post. Lawrence O’Donnell, being the predictable hack he is, did what I thought some Leftist would do. See for yourself:

(Video was posted by HotAirPundit)

That is how predictable the Left has become.

OHbama isn’t a puppet of the unions, the unions are taxpayer paid operatives of the Kommiecrat party…

It would be great benefit to this country if those who spout this garbage would get a clue, and spend their energy actually helping this country get back on track, a track from which you folks derailed us.

Hi, Jim. I really hate to be the one who breaks this to you, but… you have no idea what you’re talking about.

We “derailed” because of decades of government involvement in the mortgage / housing market. Now decades of promising everyone everything is becoming unsustainable.

Blaming it on “you folks” (presumably Republicans) ignores something called reality.
