Justice Clarence Thomas should be sent “back to the fields”… Wait, what?

Oh, and it just gets worse from there.
Christian Hartsock from BigGovernment.com went undercover at the recent “Uncloak Koch” event and what he found was a host of racist… wait for it… Leftists in the crowd. Yes, you read that correctly. Leftists. Hardcore ones, too.
Now let’s take a trip back down memory lane to a video that ThinkProgress spliced together claiming they had proof of the “racist Tea Party” in action. Remember this? Yeah, they tried and failed. I wonder if they’ll have anything to say about this one:
Now pay attention to what the hippie says starting at the :42 mark: “They’re (Koch Brothers) are a devastating influence on our country right now. It’s coming from fear and anger and widespread misunderstanding of what’s actually causing the problems in our society. And I think the racist Tea Party is one example of that. And it makes me feel ashamed to be an American.”
Oh, really? She must not have mingled much in the crowd she was a part of because what I just saw on that video was “fear”, “anger” and a “widespread misunderstanding of what’s actually causing the problems in our society”. I mean, Clarence Thomas? Is he causing the problems in our society? Something tells me that if she saw this video she would be nodding along approvingly and feeling a lot less ashamed of being an American.
But let’s get right down to the brass tacks, shall we? Racism.
How long have we heard the steady mantra: “The Tea Party is racist”? Since day one. Nearly every Leftist pundit, columnist, and “journalist” on the planet has at some point or another implied or flat out stated that the Tea Party movement is racist. Congressmen have even accused Tea Party / Anti-HCR protesters of using the “n word” and spitting on them during rallies. To this day many still claim this happened despite the lack of evidence.
Are there racists who are also Tea Partiers? Of course. As the video proves, there are racists everywhere… even on the Left. Do those racists speak for the entire movement? Of course not. Do those racists represent even a significant portion of the movement? Only insofar as the racists in the video above represent a significant portion of the Left. But that has never stopped the Left from hurling their accusations against the entire conservative movement or the Tea Party, has it?
Let’s just imagine if the video above was taken during a Tea Party rally and several participants stated that a sitting US Supreme Court Justice should be sent “back to the fields” or “strung up”. Picture the news coverage. Predict what Chris Matthews or Rachel Maddow or Keith Olbermann (if he still had a show) would be saying right now and over the next few days. It would be non-stop. Democrat Congressional members would be using the tape as “proof” of what is really behind the opposition to ObamaCare or any other piece of legislation they want to get passed.
“The racist Tea Party.” That’s all you’d hear.
Many Leftists still try to suggest that the media is not overwhelmingly Leftist. If that were true, you wouldn’t be hearing about the racists at the Uncloak Koch event on the web for the first time.
I can’t wait to see how Media Matters or ThinkProgress spin this. Since it was done by a Breitbart site, my first guess is that they’ll blame “clever editing”. We shall see.
UPDATE: It turns out that Tommy Christopher over at Mediate was tasked with making the “clever editing” excuse. He does take it a step further and tries to suggest the racists might not have been at the rally. Or, of course, they could have been “infiltrators”. Wow.
Sorry Tommy. Those tactics you speak of? Those are Lefty tactics. (You link to it in your own article)
Is Tommy auditioning for Senior Fellowship at Media Matters? This might actually get him the gig.

Umm, first, the video doesn’t prove that there are racists everywhere — that’s a leap of logic like saying that because there was a Jesus there are Messiahs everywhere. And just because there are racists everywhere doesn’t make the Tea Party not racist. Quite the opposite, if there are racists everywhere, then there MUST be racists in the Tea Party. Besides, there are so many reasons for the Left to dislike the Tea Party, it hardly needs to add racism to the list. The real point is that mudslinging from the Left isn’t going to make anything any clearer; nor will mudslinging and defensiveness from the Right.

Dear Urban Socrates,
No.
Love,
RB
Urban Socrates, you are confused. RB makes clear in the post that there must be some racists in the TP. So the first half of your comment is pointless and redundant, like most liberals.
The point is NOT that mudslinging from both sides is bad, the point is that liberals persist in objecting to the mote in the TP’s eye, and failing to note the beam in their own.
[...] They’ve been attacking Clarence Thomas since as long as I can remember. With ObamaCare lawsuits making their way to the Supreme Court, the attacks have been increasing. They’re demanding he recuse himself over nonsense. A few weeks ago, Leftist protesters were recorded saying that Thomas should be “strung up” and sent “back to the fields.” [...]
If Clarence was a democrap Urban Socrates would be shreiking about right-wing racism.
