Jack Conway Isn’t As Smart As He’d Like You to Think

Jack Conway is the Democrat running against Republican Rand Paul in in the Kentucky Senate race. He’s the state’s Attorney General and, as such, a lawyer. Conway portrays himself as the educated type, which I’m sure he is, but being educated and having common sense are two different things.
Take for example his campaign for the United States Senate. When the race started, JackConway.com was taken by a realtor, so they
snatched up JackConway.org. The campaign then apparently decided to use @ConwayforKY as their Twitter profile. No foul there. It’s what the campaign didn’t do, however, that came to haunt them.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago and JackConway2010.com is announced. No, it’s not another website from the Conway campaign. It’s a site from an unknown party attacking Jack Conway for his liberal progressivism. As the site points out, Jack Conway is “Kentucky’s Obama” and in a red state where Obama lost to McCain in an anti-Republican year 57% to 41%, that’s saying something.
JackConway2010.com notes that Conway supports strict gun control, Obamacare, cap and tax, card check, abortion, amnesty, and is known for down-right lying to get promotion. Not one of those is popular in Kentucky.
Apparently Conway didn’t learn his lesson, because the Twitter username @JackConway2010 was also registered to be used against Kentucky’s Obama. A one-two punch.
Jack Conway wants you to think he’s smart and has a savvy campaign going. Truth is, he obviously isn’t and doesn’t.
